Jenna Coutant DNP, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rush University Medical Center. She has spent the last eight years in the NeonatalIntensive Care Unit (NICU), providing both complex medical care and emotional support to newborns and their families. Passionate about pediatric healthcare, Jenna is dedicated to supporting children through every phase of life with a holistic, patient-centered approach.Outside of work, Jenna embraces a holistic lifestyle with her husband, 2-year-old son, and their furry companions—Pomeranian Paco and cat Gus. She enjoys decluttering and creating aesthetically pleasing spaces, as well as diving into a good mystery thriller novel in her free time.
This practice is incredible! They are very friendly and welcoming. I was recommend to this practice from a relative and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve taken my son here twice so far and they have been great with him. What I also like is that it is a judgement free office. They respect my decisions regarding my son and always give me the best advice and service. They’ve answered all of my questions and concerns as well as took their time with us during our visit. As an overwhelmed expecting mother, I was becoming extremely defeated as I interviewed pediatricians to help me care for my son when he arrived. As a nurse, I was searching for someone collaborative, respectful, patient, and would be able to provide insight and guidance with more depth than what I could quickly access on a Google search. Jessica and the staff of Well Rooted is a God-send, exceeding my expectations every visit! Jessica is extremely present during very visits, despite whatever is happening outside the exam room door. She is incredibly kind, gentle, patient and with excellent clinical skills and judgement! She has also been immediately available to me via phone on the weekend, when I have had a concern. I just love her and the entire staff at Well Rooted so much and I couldn’t recommend them enough!
Doctors and medical offices have always given me fear. Not with this place! Some of the nicest most catering people I have ever met with truly good intentions! We love this place! The kids love the atmosphere with Great Wall art to look at. We feel like family here! They take the time to explain things and do not rush us out the door. Thank you all for all the love you share with our family!
Valerie is absolutely amazing!!! Our family feels so blessed to have been able to work with her. My son was diagnosed with Vitiligo, and with Valerie’s direction we have seen such a change in him. We were provided with so much information and finally have hope!
Jessica is the absolute BEST! We brought our newborn daughter to Well-Rooted days after she was born for her first appointment with Jessica and she took excellent care of her/us. Extremely informative and made us feel very comfortable with any questions we had. We are very confident in our choice with Well-Rooted and are going to continue to see Jessica as long as we live in the area. Highly recommended!
